Looks like only 2.6 inches max clearance for a soundbar comparing the BB picture and Sony's spec page.

41.97 - 39.37 = 2.6 inches

I would like to know this as well.  The specs say it's adjustable but not by how much (over and above the 1 inch of clearance in the diagram).

It's adjustable but side to side not up and down. Looks like I will have to prop it up off the tv stand to fit the soundbar. The ARC is 3.4 inches tall. Ideally I would like to mount the TV and the sound bar but it's going on an outside wall and the builder didn't use standard 2x4's on the block. UGH
