Hi Steve, Thank you for your inquiry! The XR83A90J has 3-way stand positions with options for a wide mount, narrow mount, or tall mount. The tall mount provides room for a soundbar. Below are the dimensions of this TV: STAND WIDTH (STANDARD POSITION) 74.13" (1,880 mm) DIMENSION OF TV WITH STAND (SOUNDBAR POSITION) (W X H X D) 74.13 x 44.88 x 16.88" (1,880 x 1,137 x 428 mm) STAND WIDTH (NARROW POSITION) 27.63" (700 mm) DIMENSION OF TV WITH STAND (NARROW POSITION) (W X H X D) 72.88 x 43.38 x 16.88" (1,850 x 1,099 x 428 mm) STAND WIDTH (SOUNDBAR POSITION) 74.13" (1,880 mm) The XR83A90J may fit on your current TV stand but using the narrow position. For stability, please use supplied stand and make sure it is installed properly and placed on a flat surface. We also suggest at least give clearance on each side of the TV. If the Table-Top Stand protrudes out from the stand, it may cause TV set to topple over, fall down, and cause personal injury or damage to the TV.
