“I can't turn off the annoying keynote sound on Sony 85XJ1 TV. The directions from Sony say, "please follow the steps below: Go to settings > System > Sound > System sound > On/Off." Under System/Sound there is no option for System Sound.”

Hey i just had the same issue and finally found where to turn off the remote ding. Press the Home button Put the cursor on the top row Press the right button until the cursor goes past the Library menu abd you will get a drop down menu Scroll to setrings and press the center or select button Scroll all the down to "System" and select Scroll down to "Sound" and select Select "System sounds" and you can turn of the extremely annoying ding when you press a remote button.
