“Are there alternative legs for this TV? My TV cabinet is 16" deep. The stand is 17.37" deep, (IMO it's unnecessarily to deep). If no alternative, I will be unable to buy the 85" X91J or the X95J (when released). I have no intention for mounting the TV.”

Hello AGB19, Unfortunately, there is only one set of legs for this TV. The measurement of the TV stand from front to back is approximately 17 3/8 inches (441.33 mm). If you prefer our KD-85X91J / X95J, you will need to have a new TV cabinet with a deep bigger than the TV stand. This is highly recommended to secure the TV and prevent it from toppling. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the 85" X91J TV and also got the FITUEYES Universal TV Stand for up to 85" TVs. It's very sturdy and the TV is secure on this stand. I have straps to tie the back of the TV to the cabinet.
