Hello Paul, Both of these Bravia units are great TVs. In terms of picture processors, X95J has our Cognitive Processor XR while the X91J has 4K HDR Processor X1. With regard to color enhancement, both of them support the Live Colour™ Technology but the X95J has the XR Smoothing and XR Triluminos Pro™ while X91J has TRILUMINOS™ Display. The X91J supports the X-Balanced Speaker while the X95J has the 3D Surround Upscaling feature.
