Hi Shawn, the highest capacity SD card that have been tested to work with the a6400 is 256GB. You can charge the camera via micro USB port tp extend record time without changing out the battery.

I currently have a 512GB SD card in my camera. It could possibily do more, but with the current size on the market, 512GB is recognized.
