Yes, I got the 24-105 lens and it's a great zoom for wide and some close-up photography. The kit lens was meant to be a starter like with any other camera. (Canon, Nikon, etc.)

Yes! Dont worry! Thats just the stock lens it comes with, there are plenty of great lenses you can buy that have amazing features to them ... one being the sony 70-200mm lens

Zoom range depends on the Lens, this is a great camera but what you’re wanting is something only a nice expensive lens can do.

Use your feet, the best Zoom you can buy. High MP allows cropping. Do the Crop Walk.
