“When it says a "power cable" is included, does that mean something to power the camera without a battery? Or is that the powercable for the charger? Looking for a power system, if it is not included, does Sony make something?”

Hi jack, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The power cable is the one that can charge the battery when it is inside the camera. As of right now, Sony does not make product that can power camera without battery inside. Please look for dummy battery solution from third-party companies. Thank you so much for your question.
