• Yes, there is image stabilization. There's no in-body image stabilization in the a5100. But the 16-50mm kit lens has a quite good in-lens image stabilization, called OSS -- Optical Steady Shot.

• lenses does not have to do with camera. All SONY e mount lenses have OSS. Some Zeiss have, but not many, And third market does not. Stock 16-50mm lense does have it and its the same stock lense you get on all e mount models. (a5000, a5100, a6000, a7)
