This wouldn't be my first choice for astrophotography. Images are a little on the noisy side in my opinion for astrophotography. I'd suggest getting a lens like the Samyang 12mm f2.0 if you are going to do this kind of photography. You can use your phone to control the camera. You should be able to use the tripod screw and adapt it to a telescope mount.

Shutter speed can be as fast as 1/4000 all the way up to 30 seconds or bulb. This camera uses an app on Android or iPhone called Playmemories which allows near full control of the camera. Telescope mounts are available, but if you are using a reflector telescope, make sure it's the shorter T minus series, or one can be fabricated for a 2" eyepiece mount quite easily from a plumbing fitting and cheap adapter. Attached is a comparison of a commercially available mount that is too long and the one I made that works great.
