• I can't attest to sports photography, but you can get bokeh if you set the camera to the lowest aperture while at the highest zoom. There may be other ways to get this done, but that one should definitely work.

• The depth of field the lens would give is way too large you need something with larger apeture to give you a narrow depth of field.. I bought the a6300 body only and bought the 50mm 1.8 or if you don't mind spending the money get the OSS version of the 1.8 50mm
