“I just bought this camera today but it will be delivered on 11/1. I am curious if this is safe to be charged on a power outlet with 220v or safer to connect the USB to a computer? Will be bringing this camera for an out of the country tour next month.”

The camera comes with an adapter so you should be fine plugging the adapter into the wall. The adapter should have a chip inside that regulates charging. Depending on the computer port, charging might take longer, but should still be safe. I have even used my phone charger to charge the camera via usb c. Have fun on your trip! Bring sd cards and extra batteries!

You can use the AC Adaptor (supplied) in any country or region where the power supply is within 100 V to 240 V AC and 50 Hz/60 Hz.
