press either set button and the alarm time will be displayed. Do not hold down or you will change the alarm time, just press it once

No- you cannot tell what time either alarm is set to go off- only the letter A on the left if the first alarm is set and turned on, and the letter B on the right side if the second alarm is set and turned on.
