• AM reception is reasonable but by no means perfect. Use FM which is much better.

• Fine for my uses, but this radio's antenna is completely internal. If you typically get bad reception that may pose a problem.

• Hi nukerbaum, you have to select the AM band in order to listen to AM radio stations. Here's the step how to play the radio: Playing the radio 1 Press RADIO to turn on the radio. 2 Set BAND to the desired band (AM orFM). 3 Tune to the desired station using TUNING. 4 Adjust the volume using VOLUME +/–.
