No it does not, but LCD easy to see.

No, the time does not shine on the ceiling. But, it is clearly visible across the room in my home office. The tuning is analog, without presets, along with unlit station numbers on the top. It serves the purpose since I only listen to three stations. It could use an antennae to get a better signal for WBGO; so, you can go to WBGO's webpage, and make a contribution so that the best Jazz station in the country can upgrade its signal so that I can hear it better. Then, this produce would be perfect, and balance would be restored in the Universe.
