What all video formats will this player recognize? null

It plays blu ray I know, dvd I think, but I didn't check. It doesn't play 4k movies- I bought one thinking it would, but it wouldn't play them. I ended up returning it, and getting an Xbox One S for that. (Plus, it will be compatible with the Oculus Rift this year.) Hope this helps.
