I already know these are good for active lifestyles, preventing sweat and water from leaking in. My questions is, can these be submerged under water? If so, how deep, and for how long? null

Hi dave1, this headphone is only water resistant which cannot be fully submerged underwater. We suggest the NWZ-W273S which is fully waterproof for up to 6 feet. The NWZ-W273S can be used underwater as long as its batteries have charge. Thanks, -Mark
