Will the bass boost function work when NOT using Bluetooth? null

The bass boost is only available when using Bluetooth. Reason being is Bluetooth is restricted to 20Hz-20,000Hz. Using the supplied cable the headset operates at 3Hz-28,000Hz. So really wouldn't need to boost it at that range.

You don't have to use bluetooth, but they still have to have charge for it to work. You can listen with or without power but you need power for extra bass.

Hello Kenny! Yes, it is possible to use the Eletro Bass Booster function with any source played with this unit, keep in mind that since the function amplifies certain low frequencies, the effect may not be obtained with music that does not contain the frequencies to be amplified. ~Jeannette
