Yes you can use these head phones wired with stereo connecting cable. The battery is charged by Micro USB cable, and head phones have in a
rechargeable lithium-ion battery. I cannot speak on the connection of the Sony TV due to not owning one. However you can call sony technical department maybe they can give you your answer.
