I had the same question as I had just purchased a Samsung 65" KS8000 SUHD Smart TV, and I had been told at Best Buy that these B/T headphones would not work with my set. Lo and behold, I am glad they were wrong! Once I set the Audio output to BlueTooth in settings, it immediately paired with my brand new red Sony headphones, and a message popped up asking me to confirm using them for audio output....it couldn't have been easier, and works brilliantly! As soon as I turn the headphones off, the sound returns to the TV speakers automatically! Since I live in an apartment complex, it's imperative I have good headphones for my movie watching, and I could not be happier with both Samsung and Sony!
