I put my system in rest mode and there is an option to supply power for 3 hours to usb ports to charge headset. Also you could just plug the headset into a wall charger.

Please try again later.The ps4 gold headset can charge on any USB port with its usb cable, the PS$ can be set to standby mode where it will leave the usb ports active for sometime to charge controllers. I personally use a seperate usb powered hub that plugs into the wall socket to charge all my controllers so i dont have mess of cables coming from each of my consoles
