There is a bass feature on the remote which you can increase. You can also amplify the sound in the menu by increasing +db.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no way to adjust the bass or treble. One of the many reasons I returned the system
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are two areas that you can play with. Although they do not adjust the treble per say the end result by adjusting the bass would benefit your overall experience. Entering the distance of sound bar & woofer as requested in setting is important. I also found woofer location is equally paramount in determining the final outcome of higher quality sound. I have tested different methods of placement, and came away with a final decision to have them facing me from the corners of my room. Remember corner placements enhence bass production. The worse is around your chair facing the TV as low frequency is somewhat out of phase. Also under speaker setting there is an individual adjustments for sound bar and sub woofer volume. Play with different minus or plus dB ratio to achieve an immersive balanced sound from left & right channel. When you are finished with this adjustments you can start listening to your music and performs individual bass adjustments on different songs through SW+/- switch on remote. Hope these help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On the remote you can lower the power of the subwoofer. As for any other options I have yet to see any. You may also want to play around with the decibel levels . >HOME >SETUP >ADVANCED SETTINGS >SPEAKER SETTINGS >MANUAL SPEAKER SETTINGS >LEVEL They can be brought into the positive range and also lowered in the negative range
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got this soundbar along with rear speakers. Trebles are non-existent. Hi hat sounds more like ch-ch-ch instead of ts-ts-ts. A simple software equalizer would correct that and I hope Sony could roll it out as a firmware update. You can raise upper-mids by pressing “Voice” button twice to set it to “up 2”. It helps trebles somewhat but it is no replacement for a proper equalizer. Lows are no problem. You have a dedicated subwoofer volume rocker on the remote. After paying a thousand dollars for an audio system I am upset that I don’t have complete control of the output. Presets are great, but they can’t cover every use case. I have faith in Sony engineering and my house is filled with Sony gear for a reason. I believe that we are going to see equalizer - a basic feature found on even the cheapest sound bars in the next software update. Dear Sony, I hope you are listening.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You cant tweak treb and bass, but you can tweak the output of each of the speakers "db" which helps with clarity. Use the home button to go to your speaker settings. Advance, and level. I was going to return the soundbar and rears due to weak volumn. I had to turn bar to max to hear the fullness. After this tweak, I get the same audio at level 24.
