“When I push the home button nothing comes on my TV. I know the soundbar works great but I"m trying to hook up rear speakers and everything says push the home button and see the controls on the TV screen. Nothing there.”

You just answered this question and told me I had to go to my TV source and put in the source that was connecting my Sony Sound bar to my TV I don't have the special HDMI they refer to on my TV. I have many HDMI ports but no eARC/ARC ports. It was necessary to use an optical connection between my TV and my sound bar. How do I get information from my home button to my TV screen. I don't see anything coming up that shows a resource of fiber optics. I just want to connect my rear speakers and their adjustments. Where do we go from here?
