No. I’ve never seen a passive sound bar system. The one in question here, does the ZF9, is a 400 total watt output system. Each speaker on the sound bar receives its own channel providing 100 W of power. The subwoofer has its own internal amplifier producing 100 W to power the sub itself. Both units must be plugged into the wall for power.
