• It is for the SLIM Digital Edition. There is a Slim disc version and a Slim Digital version. This is made to ADD a disc drive to the digital edition.

• If you look under the full specs, it does disclose that it is for the slim ps5 console.

• Not compatible with first gen, has to be newer model, the new model PlayStation comes digital or disc, you can add disc to the new digital
