• Honestly you really want headphones with a larger driver for clarity when looking at how the bass drum will sound. Over the ear headphones are always going to give you a better sound when it comes to stuff like kick drums. That being said, these are great for the price. Bass is warm and natural.

• It has better bass than the ones that come with Apple products. I don’t use them I use this. I love high bass don’t care for treble. So in short yes.

• Good bass if you can run it through something that can adjust bass easily like a rooted Android phone with an audio fx or, in your case, it's a music theater. What are you listening the 808's from?
