• Yes, but you must be careful. The "mute" and "off" are the same button; you just press longer for "off".

• yes you can. press once to answer, press twice to increase volume press thrice to decrease volume, but you have to download the smart key on your android device and customize it to take advantage of mute function. This is the most accurate answer I believe.

• Download the associated app to your smart phone. You can mute, call, answer, increase and decrease in-call volume and music, play, stop, rewind and fast forward music and there's probably more.

• The button function may vary depending on the smartphone. To use the the Multi-function button, you press once to answer the call, press again to end; press to play/pause a track.

• I have an LG G3, and prior to that I had a Galaxy S5. I used these earbuds with both and they would automute for incoming calls and auto- unmute when the call ended

• Not sure if it will work with your phone but I had a samsung galaxy s4 and recently had to get the Samsung Alpha due to an insurance claim and they worked well with both phones. All functions worked were supported.
