These headphones will be perfect for your husband and won't break your wallet. I known a pair and I would say they are better than the bose sound sports that I tried prior to them.

I have been a long time buyer of Sony earbuds. Over the years, I've always been impressed with their lifespan.

While this pair is a great cheaper option for a quality sound there are a few flaws in my opinion.

First, they are one of the most painful ear buds I've used. I work grounds keeping in the summer, listening to music for 8 hours a day over the years different ear buds are more comfy than others, this pair has to be one of the worse.

Second, I'm not a fan of the mic button, some people love it, I dislike how I can't push the plastic up to the top to prevent them from tangling so much in my pocket.

Overall, for the small increase in sound quality, I would just recommend a cheaper pair of Sony headphones for what it is.

Final note, these seem to have a nice amount of wear and tear to them. Haha survived the wash/dryer once already.

Oh and if your question was regarding the aux, yeah these would plug into any iPod/Zune given it has a headphone jack.
