- Answer I don't think they'd work for that kind of sound reduction. They don't really deaden sound, they use active white noise to eliminate background sound (like an aircraft engine.) Just my observation after using them.

- Answer The built in microphones are not for voice communication. So it does not work with cell phone calling.

- Answer No, this product does not have a microphone. Adding a microphone to headphones is more expensive and would raise the price.
