• I don't think they'd work for that kind of sound reduction. They don't really deaden sound, they use active white noise to eliminate background sound (like an aircraft engine.) Just my observation after using them.

• Not likely. They cancel out steady, consistent noise like that of airplane engines. It does not cancel out voices or intermittent sounds.
