Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not a truly water proof speaker, but if it does great splashed on it should be ok
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These speakers are, truly, only "moisture resistant" and CAN NOT BE SUBMERGED IN WATER. They ARE fully capable of being used in the bathroom (but not IN the shower stall) while you are taking a hot and steamy shower, but I would NOT ever use them sitting in an actual steam sauna room for even 2 or 3 minutes. They are just fine for using by the pool or the hot tub and if they get splashed it's no big deal just as long as you towel them off when you are done. And if they get rained on for a couple of minutes or sprinkled by the irrigation system, while you're not watching, just towel them off and when you are done using them let them sit overnight in a cool dry place, and they'll be good-to-go tomorrow! Unfortunately, if one of these speakers does fall into the pool or hot tub and sinks below the water, I'm not at all sure it would survive even if you did get it out immediately. Without being able to remove the battery immediately (as is recommended with submerged cell phones) I don't know if something internally would short out or not. I would certainly try to dry it out as carefully as possible and turn it grille side down immediately after getting it out of the water. Sony does build their audio devices really well, and I'm sure they considered this event, but I don't think they ever intended it to be completely submerged. Here's the exact language from the Sony documentation that comes with the speaker: "This system has a water resistant specification of IPXS as specified in "Degrees of protection against ingress of water" of the IEC60529 "Ingress Protection Rating (IP Code)." However, this system is not completely water tight. Do not drop the system into hot water in a bathtub or purposely use it in water. Depending on usage, water entering the system may cause fire, electric shock or malfunction."
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I cannot be submerged. Not waterproof.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This speaker is water resistant so it should survive a light rain. It should not be submerged since water can seep past the cover over the charging port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Water restraint is not waterproof

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on the product description, this speaker is water resistant. It might be ok to get a little wet but completely submerged under water will likely cause some problems. You can view waterproof speakers via the link below: http://bit.ly/1sfqujF Thanks!
