• There is a plastic piece the covers the charging port. You pull it up and will be able to plug it in to charge.

• Hi StreetPerformer, Thanks for the question and the interest in Sony products! Your Unit comes with an USB-C type cable that you need to connect to an USB AC adaptor (not supplied) to an AC outlet. Keep in mind that you can charge the speaker's built-in battery by connecting the speaker to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port as well. However, not all the computers are tested and found compatible with this procedure and the procedure is not applicable to home-built computers.
