• Muffle yes, block no. No where near the level of noise canceling of dedicated shooting muffs.

• they block them about as much as those ear muffs that allow voices to go thru but dull the gunshots, so not entirely but yes.

• No. The noise canceling function is not sufficient to block gun shots. I would recommend Howard Leight by Honeywell Impact Sport Sound Amplification Electronic Shooting Earmuff. I use these regularly and they work GREAT!!
