Hi Wood,

Noise canceling headphones are designed to help reduce ambient noise and reproduce high quality sound. Using special electronic circuitry, noise canceling headphones actively reduce most of the outside noise that can't be eliminated by simply covering the ears. Check this link for more information.

I don't think so due to the fit issues. But I haven't used it for a call yet.

I don't use the noise cancel feature, but outside sounds are supressed sufficiently.
