A:AnswerThis unit would work okay with the speakers at 8 ohms, but a digital tv is most likely 4 channel audio and this is a two channel old style stereo receiver.
You probably need something with surround sound which is typically is 4 channel.
A:AnswerThere are no subwoofer outputs. There are two sets of speaker outputs, so you can connect 4 speakers. If you have a subwoofer with a plate amplifier attached to it, you can daisy-chain from one of the speaker outputs to the subwoofer inputs on the plate amplifier(if it has speaker terminal outputs).
