Look for a different receiver. I returned it after 2 days and went back to my 30+ year old Sony receiver. I had it hooked to a vintage set of Fisher (15” woofer) , Technics (12”woofer) and Kenwood (12” woofer) floor speakers ( not at same time) and the sound quality was terrible. I also hooked it up to a set of Polk T15’s and Sony book shelf speakers which sounded better but still lacked in all area’s. Also the first receiver I bought wouldn’t turn on made the 45 minute trip to return it and grab a new one to simply repeat the process not 48 hours later but this time I asked for my money back.

Please make sure to set the speaker impedance to "6 ohms" if you're using a 6-ohm speaker. And, no. you cannot add another amp to this unit. Hope this helps! -Sam
