For you sonto play analog LP's you need 3 pieces, a turntable, speakers, and an amplifier with a phono input. This receiver does NOT have a phono input. You could purchase a separate phono preamp but it would be cost prohibitive. Look for a receiver wiht a built-in one as they used to be a standard feature and did not add much to the cost.

It is designed to work well and seamlessly with a turntable and speakers, making it a perfect match for a setup focused on playing albums/vinyl records. You can use this receiver with just the turntable and speakers without the need for additional parts or components. Hope this helps! Whether you choose to enjoy the warm sound of vinyl via the phono input, or stream music from your digital music collection, you’ve found a perfect match. Don’t forget the receiver’s A=B function lets you connect two pairs of speakers. You can easily switch between A or B or use them all together at the same time. When you factor in the low-profile design, we’re sure you’ve found the flexibility and performance you’ve been looking for! Regards, Sam
