“I have speakers with 16 ohms hooked into A. Can I hook speakers with 6 ohms into B. If so do I select 6 ohms or 8 ohms on the receiver? Model of receiver is STR-DH190. Thanks”

Hi Scotty, Good question! Yes, it will work as long as the speakers connected fall within the impedance range of 6-16 ohms. When you connect all the speakers with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms or higher, set “SP IMP.” to “8 OHM”. In other connections, set it to “6 OHM”. Whether you choose to enjoy the warm sound of vinyl via the phono input, or stream music from your digital music collection, you’ve found a perfect match. Don’t forget the receiver’s A=B function lets you connect two pairs of speakers. You can easily switch between A or B or use them all together at the same time.
