“I have this receiver and I hooked it up to a pair of the Sony stand alone SS3CS tower speakers, they max at 145w, this puts out 100w per channel, it doesn't seem very loud when I turn them up. Why is It so quiet? It seems pretty straight forward.”

I’m certainly not a tech or an authority on any of this stuff, all can can think of is ya might check to see if you have the button that switched from A B & Ab speakers on the right channel you have your speakers hooked to. That’s really all I can think of. Hope ya find the problem, my are superior loud.
