I have 4 home speakers on it it will for a good hour or so then it will shut down for protection if you turn it up loud

Yes this reciever will power 200watt speakers I have one in my house and I have full surround sound hooked up also 2 15 house speakers and a subwoofer it shakes my house and has the neighbors looking when I play music.
