“I'm trying to use this to connect speakers with my video projector-NOT video, just sound so that I can use external speakers with my projector. Can it do that? I have tried plugging into each of the inputs but I'm not getting any sound.”

Hi Debol, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes. Make sure you're connecting from the AUDIO OUT of your projector to the AUDIO IN port of the receiver. And also, try pressing the input button on the remote control or turning INPUT SELECTOR on the receiver to select the input to which you want to listen. -Sam
