“I just purchased this receiver and opened the box there were no coaxial cables. The reason I purchased this was to connect to my built in home speakers to play throughout my home. Was this the correct item? If so where do I get the red and white cables?”

Hi Mj, Audio cables are sold separately. You don't need to have coaxial cables or red/white cables to connect the unit to your home speakers. You can directly connect your home speakers to this unit using speaker wires. Please refer to the link below for further details. Thanks!
