• This unit would work okay with the speakers at 8 ohms, but a digital tv is most likely 4 channel audio and this is a two channel old style stereo receiver. You probably need something with surround sound which is typically is 4 channel.

• Hi, neophyte! Yes, your Klipsch speakers should be compatible since the receiver has a Speaker impedance use of 6 ohms – 16 ohms. Your Vizio TV should also work with the receiver via HDMI connection. -Sam
