“When I play all 4 speakers at once, no problem; they ALL work. But when I choose option A, THREE (not two) of the speakers play. When I chose speaker option B, again, three (not two) of the speakers play. Why is this? Thanks.”

Hi johnm, We're sorry to hear about the issue you're having. Please check the speaker wiring. Make sure that the metallic wires of the speaker cables are not touching each other between the SPEAKERS terminals or on the receiver rear panel.
