The Bluetooth on this unit is Receive only. Any reference to transmission is referring to its ability to search for and pair up with another Bluetooth transmitter. It will not, according to the manual, function in the transmit mode to send sound signals to another receiver.

It is not capable of transmitting one to a Bluetooth device such as wireless headphones or speakers. As a workaround, you can connect your wh-1000xm4 to the headphones out port of the receiver via wired connection. Hope this helps! -Sam
