Unfortunately, the connector is only for the supplied single wire antenna. If you experiment with placing it, it might work fairly well. I too wish it had 300 or 75 ohm external antenna connections.

You can't connect an external FM antenna to your A/V receiver, but you can improve the FM reception. Adjust the position of the supplied FM wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the reception condition is good. Place the antenna near a window. Position the antenna as horizontally as possible.
