“I am doing a projector setup, but I don't have surround sound. I am using a JBL Bar 2.1. I need to run an HDMI to the projector, and I also need to run audio to the soundbar. Am I able to accomplish this? I see the Optical Audio Output labeled in.”

Hi Connor, Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, this receiver only has an optical input port. You will need an optical output port to connect your soundbar and produce sound. We recommend connecting speakers to the speaker ports of the receiver to get sound. Hope this helps! -Sam
