The Sony STR-DH950 may not be the problem. The sync problem you describe, I've only experienced this issue with video streaming. Do you see the sync problem showing up with a DVD? If it is a streaming issue you might want to check out a you-tube video on correcting this issue.

Power reset the AV receiver and your TV, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on. Also, if you're using HDMI ARC, try to replace the HDMI cable to isolate the issue. Regards, David
