QuestionI see this player supports dolby atmos, but what about dts.x? If it doesn't then I'll keep my samsung. The problem is samsung does not have Dolby Vision. So please tell me the sony supports DtsX so I can buy it.

- Answer No the audio only hdmi port does not need to be connected to the tv to work. That connection is for using with a sound bar or surround sound receiver/amplifier.
