Do you have to have an ethernet cord for this to work? null

It can connect wirelessly. I use Ethernet because my modem is conveniently located and wired is faster and not subject to interference, and to not have another device sharing my limited wireless bandwidth. But wireless works fine.

It can also be connected VIA HDMI cable.
